Breeders in Canada

We encourage listed breeders to complete health testing on their dogs prior to making the decision to breed. At a minimum, hips should be x-rayed to check for dysplasia, and preferably submitted through OFA so that results can be available to be viewed in their database. Breeding quality Gamprs should also conform to the breed standard in a majority of other areas, especially those concerning working temperament and sound structure, so that puppies will be able to perform the livestock guarding work that their ancestors have been bred to do for thousands of years.
